If you really wanna go for a food metaphor, proper animation is like a nice home-cooked meal, with the chef taking the proper time and effort to make the dish as delicious as possible, whereas AI animation is just blending the ingredients into a grey sludge and pouring it onto a plate, all the while laughing because you think your method is going to put real chefs out of jobs. Over time, you may perfect your method little by little until the result actually somewhat resembles food, but you're not going to fool anyone that actually pays attention.

And either way, the AI bubble is gonna burst soon, and all of this will have just been a massive waste of your time.
