My experience has been that women actually do like this kind of look, a lot, there's just not a lot of us to go around, but a woman does actually need to stare you straight in the eye and say "yes I want to relationship with you" or else you'll brush it off as them being nice and/or weird. Trust me on this, I swear when they find someone with this aesthetic they suddenly think we actually aren't equally as autistic as everyone else.
I'm also more of a "Born to be Link when you're young, will slowly morph into Elrond as you age" type of dude than my boi astolfo and a lot of the other cute boys in this thread who are more over the feminine line. Still pisses me off that I'm in my early 30s and that means I need to shave every few days instead of every month now though.
