You can create an emulsion by mixing the lube powder into the oil, add the water and shake it thoroughly. Works great, I think the PEG-molecules act somewhat as an emulsifier.
I just made a batch with 10ml coconut oil, .6g XLube and 100ml distilled water. I'll try out different ratios over the next few weeks, until I find one that I like.
Adding .6g of Xanthan gum to the same amount of XLube powder gives in 100ml water a very sticky lube that behaves nicely in wet environments (isn't washed away immediately, stays slippery when water is added).
