Yes, you can't have no standard
If the censorship is slow, it may wax and wain. Look at YouTube, they had removed monetisation from a lot of Right-wing channels until they saw how much it was costing them. If they maintain some form if standard it isn't going to shift too far from it. Sex sells, so they can never go full puritan for the same reason YouTube can't take money away from all the people they dislike. If they notice a lot of games on 3rd party platforms getting popular, and they are missing out, they may lower the restrictions.
On the other hand, if there is a scandal because of complete degenerate behaviour on the largest game platform in the world (I assume it is) laws may be put in place to make it impossible for any site to profit off these games and the devs may even get charged (people get arrested for speech in thr EU, don't forget)
