I am like 90% sure that ChatGPT will skim your other chat histories when making new chats, so it may take a little bit to "train" it on what types of content you want, but eventually you'll get there, and you can also directly add things you want to influence it for later interactions by adding it to its memory. You can usually prompt it to do this by saying "add the following to memory" or something.
By the way, chatgpt will usually converse with you in between chapters, usually asking you how you'd want to proceed, and you can change this behavior by going into the settings and editing its personality. You can make it flirtier, for example.
