>Although I realise now that the colour coding on the last image is almost imperceptible on my laptop. It stands out fine on my phone, IDK if that's just my old laptop being the issue or if it's because my phone is OLED.
i can see it fine on my laptop, but my laptop does suffer from blown-out whites ever since updating from windows 7 to 10, and i quickly gave up on fixing it. but i just checked on my phone and it's good there, too. the colors are definitely muted, but nothing that is hard to see, unless the cream onomatopoeia color were for speech, in which case it'd definitely require a closer look to make sure you're not mistaking it for the the gold speech color, which would just be poor contrast
>I get what you meant: Mamimi's is more flat, while angelauxes' has depth and layers to it. I just don't think it's that important when it comes to the complexity of the drawing, because you still need to consider the 3D shape of the penis even for mamimi's style of smegma:

well sure, but i feel compensating for 3D space is the bare minimum to edit convincingly. i can't say i agree that drawing a band around a cylinder must be as complicated as drawing a bumpy band that casts its own shadows around a cylinder simply because they're both being added to a 3D space
>While the basics of the style aren't too hard to grasp, I keep noticing a lot of details that I miss, like how overall lumpy it should look or that it droops in places
yeah, angelauxes doing dripping smegma is insane. i think it's really underrated. i'm surprised you didn't consciously notice that before, haha. an image by them that stuck with me was seeing the smegma drip sooner than the cum (the smegma is horribly censored, so it's hardly worth looking at, but still):
