Decensoring lets you understand that art is just a bunch of lines and colours, no reason you can't fill it in yourself. It also gives you an eye for detail. Editing also forces you to figure out how to make things in the way the artists did.
i don't really have an interest in decensoring since i only plan to edit ai, which is uncensored (unless it isn't, i guess), but i did notice that the glasses in the gen i plan to do my first smegma edit for incorrectly extend the right side of the glasses frame down to her cheek, and the left frame of the glasses just melts into her eye, so i was maybe going to see if i could do something about that, but with no drawing skill or experience, i doubt it. i also plugged some tags in the image into gelbooru and noticed that she's a vtuber:

and i noticed that her current model has bags under her eyes, so i hoped to edit that in, too. but realistically i will only try to do smegma, and maybe quickly give up on adding bags under her eyes, and probably won't even try fixing the two errors with the glasses frame
