edit #41. original from >>>/d/ddg:

i realized since my last post that there was no reason for me not to just convert the aspect ratio of all gens i edit to 13:19 to scale my font size to such, since it's standardize it absolutely, and increase the density in most cases (barring extremely narrow gens). so to say it again for convenience, to do so i start with my original proportions of:
>1536 image width = 50 font + 3 "stroke" (outline)
then, for this specific image, for example, i convert the aspect ratio to 13:19, which with the original being 1536x1824 (16:19), becomes 1365x1995 res. i then divide the width by each other (1536/1365), then either divide the font/"stroke" size by the difference to scale them down proportionally if the res is smaller (such as in this case), or multiple the font/"stroke" by such to scale them up proportionally. in this case it ended up being ~44.4 (rounded down to 40) font size, and ~2.66 (rounded up to 3) "stroke" size. it's just another step to added to the process of making a caption, but finally standardizing font/"stroke" size makes it worth it
