I get that but I tought of it as more realistic with reduction of the number of cells and molecules rather then their size. Because then you'd have other issues like material compression and weight being the main problems. Remember the antman analogy? how does he get to ride flying ants while technically still being ~76ish kgs? A reduction of the number of the number cells in a creature always seemed more feasible to me. Also molecules like oxygen are ludicrously small. I'm sure there is some there is some biological leeway (of their respiratory systems still working) if a creature was compressed to 10% of it's original size
