That sounds a little bit silly on face value, but I’m pretty sure that the main reason a lot of omo art and fics centralize around loli/shota is because people like to connect with the memories of the inciting incident that got them into the fetish in the first place, which for a lot of people was seeing somebody have an accident/having an accident yourself.
