GS in general is pretty mystifying as a brand. Either tastes are completely different in Japan or there is tons of corporate meddling and politics, probably all of the above.
If it was up to me, I’d take GS’s strengths and lean into them. Streamline the model lineup: sports 3-handers and GMTs. Send the dive watches to Prospex and leave the dress watches to Credor.
Make the cases thinner, improve the quality of the bracelets. Keep doing the fancy dials thing, but slow the fuck down. The market doesn’t need another fifteen slightly different dials every year.
