I noticed this exact same thing. Tret was raping my skin barrier a lot and I was overcompensating the acne with 4% Benzoyl Peroxide.
I dialed it all back and my skin barrier healed and my 4% Benz bottle is sitting unused for months. Just no acne on the face anymore.
