As a nw3 you most likely won't gain back significant ground without a transplant. 1mg fin is enough to stop your balding and maintain what you have left with maybe a norwood 2.5-2 after a year if you get lucky. Still its better than maintaining a norwood 4 or 5. Diffuse thinning cases are the ones that make crazy recoveries unfortunately not usually hairline recession.
