Minoxodil (the real shit you need a pharmacist for) is a supplement but not the main thing. it does make hair grow faster, but its like smearing plaster over a dam, it doesn't patch up the cracks in a way that matters. However, when paired with stuff like finasteride or deutasteride, it gives you gains quicker. Anyone who just uses it is going to get some gains until the DHT finishes frying them and then it's over but when paired with deeper-level stuff is pretty good
