Sup, chooms. I went through a pretty rough round of shedding in mid 2022 where my hairline receded a fair bit and feel like my hair has been very slowly thinning since then. People around me insist I'm crazy and that I'm not balding which is why I'm seeing a dermatologist to confirm it soon, but I'd like to hear from you guys first. What fucks me up is that I don't really have massive shedding, at worst I get 10 or so hairs randomly stuck in my hands when I'm washing off my shampoo but nothing really terrorizing.

I know regrowing hair where it's receded already is nearly impossible but I'd like to at least cover up the crown area. Unfortunately I have no pictures of my hair back there when I was younger so no way to make a comparison. I'd be totally fine if my hair stayed exactly how it is right now but it's the prospect of it thinning and receding even further that scares me.
