No, it's because most bars are boring unless you go out to interact with friends. With advances in technology, zoomers can communicate with their friends from their own home much better than previous generations. Why go to the bar when for half the price, you can stay at home and drink, play whatever games you want, listen to whatever song you want, stream whatever show you want, etc...?
In order for bars to survive, they need to provide some kind of unique experience, like having a dance floor, karaoke, great quality food, etc...
