Yeah, shirt size is primarily down to chest circumference, and "L" is only 42-44", which isn't very big at all if you bench and do rows.
My problem has always been about my torso being significantly bigger than my limbs; it partially comes down to genetics (I have wide shoulders and small wrists), but also my training style (prioritizing compounds over being a curlbro)
