Maybe giving up is the wrong way to phrase it since he actually seems to be at peace with his decision. But how can you call his decision retarded when you don't even fully understand why it is he's made that choice? Plapjackmaxxing is cool and all but not everyone is into plappies and other similarly low hanging fruit.
