To some degree women have it harder if their goal is to be a supermodel, since looking like that woman basically comes down almost entirely to genetic factors, and no amount of dieting or lifting is going to give a woman her frame or BWH
That said, they have it "easier" in the sense that all most women need to do in order to be seen as attractive is lose weight. In the mind of the average poster here, they're closer to what their "goal" should be than a lot of people here, because they don't have to put up numbers and would go up 1-2 points with a few months of stringent diet and light exercise. In essence, women can more easily get to the center of an aesthetic bell curve while being almost entirely boxed out of the extremes, and men have a hard time moving around at all while also having a greater ability to exert personal willpower and move to the extreme of the bell curve if they really try. A woman can't lift her way into being a supermodel, but you can lift your way into being shredded
The problem is that people use vague terms like "easy" and get mad
