Everything doesn’t have to come down to money, anon. Being an adult, especially in America, who doesn’t have a car is completely pathetic and shows you’re an autistic loser with no life or destitute, unless you’re in like two major cities that have decent public transit with subways or buses, NYC and San Francisco. Maybe you could add Chicago there. I don’t have a car in my 30s, one because for some reason I’m autistically neurotically afraid to drive, but also because I have no life and so I don’t see the point of getting one.
