Interesting, i was always averse to grappling as it ties up your hands and i just prefer boxing stylistically. But irl i obviously have to be able to deal with high level grapplers to be able to compete at mma.
Its also a good way to use a heavy squat/dl, but im always just kind of worried about sprawling vs a hravy and steomg opponent if you know the gary goodrich crucifix elbow thing when vs heavier/stronger opponents as grappling is much easier for brute strength to be the deciding factor given similar skill. Im also kinda working on top rom jump squats as the quick jerking/jumping against a footed opponent is somehow a less used strat(sumos arent that that strong) over reversals and straight up footwork that ive seen.
