If you watch some of his older videos, he seems a lot kinder and sillier and nicer than he does now, and more enthusiastic about education. In recent videos he's a bit of a smart arse, acts like a tough guy and says cryptic things. I think the internet changed him; I think he was making videos and educating and showing people stuff while also having fun, and everyone just hit him with constant steroid comments and fake natty comments and made videos about him critiquing him for this and that. I think he's become jaded because of all that, and even if it doesn't get under his skin, it would be annoying to constantly see "Mike O'Tren" and stuff, it would just infuriate you that that is the best joke that people can come up with, that people are so dumb and unfunny and unoriginal that all that can do is make a little steroid joke. I feel quite bad for him because he does provide good advice here and there, and just watching him do an incline barbell bench press improved my own bench press a lot.
