Then why bother? The hours you spend trying to remove ads on a proprietary spying device are not worth the minutes of ad time you'd save with your methods. Also quality on youtube is long dead. Trying to revive it this way is a fruitless effort. Looking for alternatives is a better way to sped your time and for your occasional visitors you could just hoop up a laptop connected to your local invidious instance or whatever.
