This is understandable, but can't we all create a fund for the handful of devs who are actually capable?
Obviously it's not possible to support every single device out there, but atleast 1 MiniPC per generation.
Someone's already done this for 10th gen i7: https://puri.sm/products/librem-mini/ but these are twice as expensive as the normie-edition of MiniPCs in the market.
The Coreboot developers themselves are available for consultations, so perhaps it's not unreasonable to think that with the right device, we can sponsor a developer to do the required work to do the porting.
