Probably "desire to be desired". But I wouldn't classify that as a "component of one's sexual identity" nor as a defect one is born with, since as far as I know, the desire to be desired affects all parts of one's life and is learned from a long series of events in one's life that don't need to involve women at all, events that can happen to any boy regardless of his genes.
Personally, I blame Pfizer before myself.
