If you use the headphone or line out on your monitor, you will use the built in DAC. There is no HDMI in that scenario you fucking retard.
If you use HDMI to get the audio out, you will need a separate DAC. the monitor's DAC is irrelevant here. Stop replying you fucking imbecile.
