What recognition does she deserve? There's nothing in her letters that we use today because of her letters. Her stuff was almost completely forgotten until the 1960s where feminist scholars (no-coders, mind you) started to claim that her notes could have been the first programs ever created, which is untrue. She is a political meme created entirely for propaganda, it has nothing to do with actual historical facts.
