There is a reason why GNOME is the default desktop. It works. Doesn't matter what the NEETs in /g/ brainwashed you into believing.
SLES? GNOME
Ubuntu? GNOME
RedHat? GNOME
KDE is only used in steamdeck machines, but it's so buggy, steamOS does not use KDE's windows compositor, they use their in-house compositor.
