I use NixOS and monitored how the takeover went last year. The invaders seemed to have infinite time to try to talk over and discredit anyone trying to discuss things logically. They tried to limit who had a voice by only allowing people with commits to talk. They wanted people to use their real names. They took fairly levelheaded posts and accused them of sealioning and other shit I'd never heard of before as an excuse to ban those accounts. They tried to stuff the project leadership by demanding DEI spots. Lots of them. It was hard to even keep up with the flood of posts they made... I'm not sure they did anything else during that period. They didn't have control of /r/nixos, so of course they wouldn't listen to anything posted there. It was awful. I've seen this behavior repeated since then, and it's definitely happening with xlibre. They are truly hostile and petty people.
