X is complete, you can argue about minor features like HDR but whatever.
The problem is X as it is now is not fit to purpose for Red Hat or whatever company is using it. That is despite the fact it might be fit for purpose for many other people.
Since the corporations control linux and the world of the gpl they decide what goes in the trash regardless of how well you might like it.
and that is the illusion of freedom the gpl provides. sure the code is free but you are not free to use it as you like in the world and they will use the gpl to create a prison.
