As a 4k max settings 60+ FPS enjoyer, a gaming PC will always be the cheaper and easier option. macOS emulation still fucks performance and a Mac powerful enough to do what I want is, like, thousands of dollars more expensive than my own PC. (Which cost about 4.5k dollars)
Also, not counting the big modern games which I play and for which I need a powerful PC for, I also like to sometimes play old obscure games like arcade shooters and read visual novels and what not, and having to emulate all of them when it's sometimes annoying to make them launch even on Windows seems like it would be hell.
