T14G5 saw the return of socketed RAM (but soldered wifi lol); /tpg/ consensus it's the successor to the T480 but aren't off corporate lease and being dumped en masse on the market yet, thus too expensive for most of /tpg/
I'm less clear on the AMD models, but suffice to say they're better than Intel at every generation - but every nerd knows it, there's fewer of them on the used market, and you'll pay a premium for them.
