Do the power button trick.
>disconnect battery and AC
>press power button once per second 10 times
>on the 10th time, hold the power button down for 30 seconds, release
>plug in AC only
>push power button normally to turn on
Works on some older Thinkpads, idk about the T530 era. It's something to do with discharging power held in the capacitors on the mobo that prevents it from turning on normally.
