Me and my friendgroup have gone through an tensted couple 1080p panels, and your options are:
N140HCE-EN1 Rev.C2
>+ high 1300:1 contrast
>+ near perfect color accuracy
>+ typically even backlight
>- 6bit panel
>- rare, expensive
>- incompatible with chink adapter, limited to 160 nits
B140HAN01.3
>+ cheaper, more common
>+ 8bit panel
>+ 300 nits with the adpater
>~ fairly standard 1000:1-ish contrast
>~ fairly standard color accuracy
>- bleed and dead pixels more common

I generally recommend people the latter, as it's easier to find and more compatible, even if of slightly lower "standard" quality. The N140, if it wasn't for the 6bit issue, would be basically a reference-grade sRGB IPS, it's quite good.
