Do I sound like a kid or are you just being smug about your superior knowledge of old tech? :P Also would that mean I could use the dialer program that has been in Windows since days of olde? It’d be pretty cool to have it hooked up to a landline, but I’m sure my ISP would upcharge the shit out of me for using something obsolete. Also I’m sure some autist out there has created some kind of special driver for whatever modem is in the thing, or at least there’s some general program for old phone modems. Or I could see if Wine would work for whatever winmodem program I’d need.
