If i was stuck using Nvidia i'd be for work, so i'd would grab anything that stays frozen in time like Debian just to not deal with their retardation, as the only game i play benefiting from any 3D acceleration is pre 1.8 Minecraft and CUDA doesn't change that often. AlmaLinux recently got first larty support for Nvidia so i'ts worth looking at.
