Literally almost all of these can be addressed by only using headphones with easily replaceable cables. The ones that can't can be fixed by simply tucking the cables under your clothes and not stuffing them into your pocket. Total non-issues compared to the complications that Bluetooth brings.
>latency
>sound quality
>pairing and switching devices
>checking your battery level is unreliable
>remembering to charge the earbuds sucks ass
>oops! turns out the earbuds weren't quite sitting right in the case so they weren't charging and now one of them is dead and the other is full
>oops! turns out the case was nearly dead before you left the house with it so now the earbuds have just been sitting in a dead case draining since yesterday and they're both nearly dead
>oops! you've been using them for more than 4.5 hours! time to stop no matter what and charge them for 45 minutes at least.
>oops! you've been using the same pair of earbuds for 3 years now and the batteries have degraded to the point where now they die at 50% and only last about 90 minutes on a good day. can't replace the batteries cuz they're glued in, better buy a new pair! that'll be $350 every few years for the rest of your life for ~convenience~
>oops! something went wrong. what exactly? you'll have to spend time frantically googling the problem and finding the answer in a nuked Reddit thread from 5 years ago. have fun with that!
>oops! turns out each earbud containing a battery, a processor, 3 microphones, various radios, pressure sensors, touch sensors, gyroscopes, accelerometers and who knows what the fuck else and that's not even getting into all the tech stuffed into the case and throwing all that shit out just to buy it again over and over isn't great for the environment. sorry :/ if only there was a simply option
>oops! this legacy device doesn't support the codec these headphones use.
>oops! this legacy device doesn't support Bluetooth at all, tough shit :(
