A server shouldn't even be caring about the 'county' of IPs that connect to it. Just by doing this they are already conceding that they can and will treat IPs differently based on supposed country of origin.
What's next? You packet goes through the UK so you are subject to its laws? You have to write routing tables to mitigate somebody elses interpretation of their laws? The internet won't be able to function if we go down this road.
