I had trouble at first too, i tried the GUI proxy manager first and it didnt work right, then i tried the normal version and had all kinds of issues. I just removed everything and started with the proxy manager again and worked fine. The only thing i cant get working is a local access level. I think it's because most of the stuff is in docker containers so even from within my network the docker instance(s) arent seeing them as in network.
