The issue is against proprietary AI run by a handful of megacorps software as a service, against FOSS self hosting models and interoperable training data that cannot be censored. Don't let people waste time with a false dichotomy so they can control the platform and the laws around it - push for the same openness in AI as one would in Linux or self hosted FOSS platforms or anything else.
