Yes, if you install it upright, but I turned it on its side. With a 4x2 Kallax on its side, the long boards don't hold the weight. I had this Kallax in the basement for years before I repurposed it for this. If I had to order a new one, then two 2x2 Kallax units side by side with one vertical divider removed would make more sense.
