What you're not seeing is that it doesn't have to be perfect or flawless. Think of it as a technology that lets anyone become a "manager" of a bunch of AIs. They do the repetitive and shitty work and usually get it right, but you still have to look over it before passing it on. It's not a 100% replace everyone tech (yet, or ever) but it's still already enough to replace a lot of people, if only by allowing one person to do the work of several. Same as any other tool.
