The only thing I'd add to anon's overview is that you should actually try out the new models. K2 and GLM (chinese models) are good just for the fresh prose and lack of positivity bias that shitty sonnet has. It's not like sonnet was perfect and some of the other models do things sonnet doesn't do well. In the end if you're paying, you have access to all the models so you can swipe at will and play to each model's strengths.
