mostly because linux is changing so much all the time.
i have choice fatigue.
say i want to run a simple init system like sysvinit.
i'd have to find a distro which is set up like that and accept any shortcomings of that distro.
i like the default system and it feels like i'm getting the good parts of debian and the good parts of slackware in one os.
now, i've only tested it for a couple of days.
