i'm a senior engineer but i'm the de-facto tech lead for this team. the team's manager is non-technical and relies on whatever estimates i give him and there's pressure from his boss and other teams to get shit done fast.
aside from both of us, the rest of the team is juniors who can't code or test for shit who have no business working in tech at all IMO. They confidently open PRs with bullshit that's obviously untested and would totally break stuff in prod, and i have to babysit them while also hitting tight deadlines, so i end up having to pick up their slack as well as all the feature work i have to complete.
i've brought it up to my manager but he thinks i'm exaggerating when i tell him how inept these juniors are. if i leave this job they're totally fucked lmao
