who the fuck decreed that a reference to them was necessarily pejorative in the first place? Apache is a cool name and if anything, all the references I've ever seen of Apache people depicted them as viril warriors on thei horse and whatnot. There is no double that they named it like that because they thought they were cool and badass too.
Even Boeing named one of their helicopter an Apache for fuck's sake.
