Sorry, hydownloader is the command line application, the browser extension is called Hydrus Companion.
I should also mention the PTR (public tag repository) that's like a 120gb+ repository of tags and md5/hashes that'll automatically tag basically any media you have that's already on boorus. Just be aware that your db might get really slow to backup/rebuild depending on the size of your stash if you're using it. I have around 20k images and it takes around 1h for the whole process on my N100.
I like collecting stuff off of twitter/misskey/poipiku tho so most of it isn't in the repository but hydrus has a really nice visual tagger where you can just assign tags to shortcuts and go through your collection tagging shit.
The built-in duplicate detection is really nice as well.
