Pretty much. We're only "allied" in the technical sense. I stand by my point however, this is literally how the world works. Ephemeral concepts like "justice" are meaningless in the grand scheme of things. US is the schoolyard bully, and you can either listen to him and nod your head so he leaves you alone to go bother some other kid or stand up to him and get stomped, then get expelled for fighting in school (the bully's parents are the principal's best friends). There is no "justice" in this world, it's all just people trying to survive.
