Looking for a nice non-android PMP for listening to flacs with gapless playback. I've been looking at buying the shanling m1+ or the hiby r3 II. Have any of you anons tried either? Or which pmp would you recommend instead?

Locally stored music in predominantly flac formats. Does not need access to wifi or streaming. Bluetooth is not a priority but would be an added plus

I'm kind of a retard with this sort of thing so I'm not entirely sure, but I'd prefer a more analytical flat sound rather than v shaped.

Owned an Aigo Eros Q (rebranded clone of hifiman walker h2) for 2 months before the headphone jack started having issues where I'd lose audio in one ear if the plug was jiggled at all. Really liked the form factor of it and rockbox worked great on it but the hardware clearly didn't go through very strenuous quality control testing. Looking for a nice quality pmp that will last longer and have less issues.
