nix is one of the most convoluted programming languages I've ever seen. I have Nothing against Elco Edolstra and his team, the root problem is everything thing feels all over the place, disorganized.
There are good moments when the idea shines. When the software is correctly shipped to be mounted into a Nix system, it is nice, but when you have to build something a little more complex, it's a whole different story.
